Family Law & Divorce

Both religious and civil marriages can only be legally terminated, by a divorce procedure initiated in the family court. The law sets certain requirements that should be met in order for a divorce order to be issued. Although, there is no fast-track divorce procedure by mutual consent, in most cases the actual dissolution of the marriage is a straightforward process in the family court. However, all documents must be drafted carefully to avoid any problems.  Cases where one spouse makes the divorce difficult for the other are not uncommon. With proper advice and guidance from a lawyer, your divorce will eventually be issued, and it will be simply a matter of time.
