Stephanos Papatheodorou
Stephanos graduated in 2006 with a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Manchester. He then pursued legal studies, successfully completing the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) at the College of Law in London. In 2009, he was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn, London.
In 2009, he returned to Cyprus to work at his father’s law firm, Giorgos Papatheodorou. He gained extensive experience both in and outside the courtroom in family law, criminal law, civil wrongs and compensation claims, fraud, defamation, contract law, and real estate law. He is a dynamic advocate in court and makes full use of his broad courtroom experience for the benefit of his clients.

I take a practical approach to my work and remain focused on the issue at hand. My personal experience of my own divorce in 2014, and the challenges I overcame in bringing an end to a situation of difficult and ongoing conflict, gave me valuable insight into the issues that arise when two people separate and how these can be addressed.
Since then, I have felt compelled to help people in similar circumstances by combining my personal experience with my expertise in Family Law.
In 2021, I founded S. Papatheodorou & Co. LLC with the aim of providing specialised Family Law services. Since then, we have helped hundreds of clients obtain the justice they deserve and resolve the issues arising from their separation. Our reviews speak for themselves.
